Terms of service

Updated October 15, 2026. Creating an account, or keeping one after this date, means you agree to these terms.

What CoinAlgos is

CoinAlgos runs two published rules on Bitcoin and Ethereum: a 200-day average and a 55-day breakout. The chart, recent trades, and a daily email are free. Pro is $12 a month, billed by Stripe, for the buy and exit emails and the option to connect one trade-only Coinbase key. Card numbers stay with Stripe. Canceling stops the next charge. It does not refund the month already paid, except where the law requires a refund.

CoinAlgos is not a broker, exchange, custodian, or investment adviser. It does not hold your funds. Coinbase holds the account the key can trade. Coinbase and Stripe have their own terms.

Not advice

The rule, the emails, the chart, and the back tests are the same for every account. They are not a recommendation to buy or sell, and they are not advice about your finances. Nothing on the site, in an email, or on a social account is an offer or a solicitation. You decide whether to act.

There is a risk of loss. A coin can fall sharply, including to a price far below what you paid. Past results and back tests are not a promise of future results. The published tests charge Coinbase's 0.90% taker fee on each buy and each sell, and they are shown next to buy and hold. Live fills and slippage will differ. On Bitcoin the 200-day rule mostly kept up with holding. It is not a promise that it will keep doing that.

Orders

Orders stay off until you turn them on and set a size for a rule, in dollars or in coins. Turning them on is your instruction to send a market order to Coinbase with the key you connected, at that size, when that rule prints a new buy. The exit later sells the coins that rule's buy filled. CoinAlgos does not sell other coins in the account, and one rule's sell does not close the other rule's coins. A trade that was already open when you turned a rule on is left alone. The email for a new signal still goes out.

A market order can fill, fill in part, or be rejected. The price can differ from the signal. These rules do not place a resting stop at Coinbase. A sell is sent when the rule exits. If the service, the exchange, or the network is down, a buy or an exit can be late or can fail. You can lose money because of that, including more than the size you set if a sell does not go out.

The key CoinAlgos accepts is limited to view and trade. It must not be able to withdraw, send, or create a deposit address. Do not add that permission later. CoinAlgos is not responsible for a withdrawal or a transfer made with a key you changed, or with any other key.

Your account

You must be at least 18, and you must be allowed to use Coinbase and this service where you live. One person per account. You are responsible for your password, your Coinbase account, the size you set, the balance that can pay for an order, and the taxes on your trades.

Emails can be turned off without canceling Pro. You can turn orders off, and you can disconnect the key. Do that if you do not want another order sent.

Visits

The site uses Google Analytics. It records the page, the referring link, and a rough location, and it sets a cookie in the browser to tell visits apart. It is not tied to your Coinbase key.

Delays and failures

Quotes, pages, emails, and orders can be delayed or can fail. Causes include exchange data, software errors, a missed schedule, internet trouble, and Coinbase rejecting a request. CoinAlgos does not promise that a signal or an order will arrive on time, or at all.

Limits on liability

The service is provided as is. CoinAlgos does not promise that it will be uninterrupted, accurate, or fit for a particular use.

To the fullest extent the law allows, CoinAlgos is not liable for trading losses, lost profits, missed or late signals, failed emails, or orders that are rejected, partially filled, duplicated, or not sent. If CoinAlgos is found liable for a claim about the service, that liability is limited to the fees you paid for Pro in the twelve months before the claim. This limit does not apply to fraud or to any liability the law does not allow to be limited.

You will cover CoinAlgos against claims that come from your Coinbase account, your decision to turn orders on, the size you set, or your breach of these terms.

The product

The software and the text belong to CoinAlgos. A subscription is a personal license to use the service. You will not copy it, resell it, or try to take it apart except where the law requires that access.

CoinAlgos can change the rule, the price, or these terms, and can suspend an account that is shared, abusive, or unsafe to connect. The date at the top of this page changes when the terms change. If a change affects how orders are sent, CoinAlgos will email the address on the account when it can.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state where CoinAlgos operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Questions can be sent to support@coinalgos.com.
